Please save the morning of Saturday October 24th starting at 8am for Creek Clean Up event at Springcreek located just South of Parker Road and Springcreek Parkway. (Weather Permitting)
Service Hours are more difficult to come by these days via sponsored events due to Covid. The City of Plano, Minnie’s Food Pantry, other service organizations have shut down volunteer opportunities. Consequently, Troop 221 is taking the initiative to organize our own event.
All Scouts can benefit from completing Service Hours for Rank Advancement.
We will have gloves, trash bags, donuts, coffee, donuts, Creek Clean Up Bingo, donuts and competition for craziest trash.
In addition, since this is not a City sponsored, we could use some pickup trucks to drop the collect trash at a trash collection point (tbd).
