Graham L – Eagle Project – Please come out to help and earn service credit toward adv

One of our Scorpions, Graham L, is executing his Eagle service project.  Please see details below and consider coming out to help him.  Service hours will be awarded for scouts who participate.
As you may already know, I’m working on my Eagle project of collecting used eyeglasses, sunglasses and reading glasses for our charter organization, the City of Plano Early Lion’s Club. I am looking for scouts and some adult volunteers to help canvas my neighborhood in Allen for donations this Wednesday, March 17 and next Wednesday, March 24. You can do either or both evenings. This Wednesday, we will be putting flyers on doors; next Wednesday we’ll be collecting the donations.
Here are the details and directions on when & where to meet both days. I will provide pizza and beverages after we’re done both evenings, but I would advise also bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated while walking the neighborhood.
When: Weds, March 17 & Weds, March 24 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm
What to wear: Class B on Weds, March 17; Class A on Weds, March 24
