Service Project: Hipsters “Friendsgiving” Dinner

My Possibilities will be holding their annual Thanksgiving meal for the HIPsters called “Friendsgiving” on 11/22 from 5:30 to 9 PM. As we did last year, we’d like to have 5 to 6 scouts available for serving food and clean-up (adults are welcome if they choose to attend as well). Accompanying our scouts, our charter the Plano Early Lions will also be in attendance volunteering and providing the sides for the event. This will also give our charter organization a chance to meet the scouts they sponsor (many of the Lions were scouts in their youth).
Scout duties will include overseeing table/station needs, such as clean-up or assistance to the HIPsters. Scouts will also assist in end-of-event cleanup. May also need a few scouts help with escorting HIPsters to their cars after the end of the event.
This is a very fun event where scouts can interact with the HIPsters and Lions and give back to My Possibilities, our troop’s facility host.
The dress will be Class A uniforms.
