Every once an awile, the scouts want to have a “chill” campout, where no major activites are planned, so the scouts can just hang out with their friends. We camped at Camp Meisenbach near Athens, TX. The scouts were allowed to choose their activities including capture the flag, chopping wood, throwing tomahawks and knives, playing cards, or just hanging out. We also watched a movie, Spider-man: Into the Spiderverse, on a inflated projection screen, including the requisite heckling of the movie by the scouts. It was a very fun and “chill” campout!
