Cedar Ridge Training Hike

We will be doing a 5-6 mile training hike at Cedar Ridge Preserve in Dallas this Saturday AM 2/12/2022. (7171 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75249)
We will meet at Einstein Bagels in the SW corner of 15th and 75, leaving the parking lot promptly at 6:45AM. We will then carpool out together to the Trail.
This hike is a great opportunity for everyone, but especially those going to Philmont this summer, and those planning on attending Eagle Rock Loop in March. If you are training for either of these treks, bring your backpack and load this up with a representation of what you will carry when you are backpacking. Also, wear the shoes that you will be hiking with to make sure that these will work for you.
We will carpool, but will need drivers to supply the needed seatbelts. Respond with seatbelt number if you can drive.
Please respond by THIS Thursday so we can better plan and coordinate seatbelts. I will be monitoring the weather and trail conditions and will try to give some advance warning if it looks like the trails will be closed. Right now the weather looks like it should be great.
