Conservation Service Project at Plano EEC

Our Troop has an opportunity to serve and earn conservation service hours at Plano’s Environmental Education Center (EEC) located at 4116 West Plano Pkwy on Saturday, April, 9, 2022. Troop will arrive and work with the EEC Landscape Technician, Eve Gersh, to perform winter cleanup of their Center’s garden grounds.
Our group will be assisting with routine maintenance tasks vital to the garden which can include: pulling weeds, trimming plants, mulching, minor maintenance, special projects and more. All of the necessary tools will be provided.
What to wear: Wear class B’s, closed toe shoes and a cheerful spirit.
Bring and use own garden gloves.
A volunteer waiver will need to signed (with a parent’s signature if under 18 years old) and sent the week of the service.
