Troop 221 will be back at Webelos Woods at Camp James Ray! As usual, the troop is welcoming Webelos and their parents to camp with us to get a better feel for what it means to be part of such an amazing troop! During Saturday “rotations,” the scout leaders and several selected scouts will be talking with the parents about Troop 221 – our focus on character, adventure, and leadership, as well as troop size, activities, fees, fundraising, etc. During that time, the rest of the troop will be leading the Webelos through a couple of different activities, including a water gun fill up and ping pong tic tac toe. And, just like last year, our featured attraction will be our snow cone machine!
After Saturday rotations, the District will be holding a “Happy Hour” to allow Webelos and their parents additional time to meet with the troops. Saturday evening, Troop 221 will host a campfire program at our campsite, complete with skits and Dutch oven desserts!
If any Webelos would like to camp with Troop 221 or join us for the Saturday campfire program, please contact us!
