Work Day – Big Chucky Ranch

Attire: Work clothes…long pants, long sleeve shirt, gloves, boots or tennis shoes, hat
Bring your Nalgene! Water and snacks will be provided.
The campsite at Big Chucky Ranch needs some work, so join us for a work day to prepare for our Shooting Sports campout. We will meet at My Possibilities at 7:30AM and try to head out by 7:45. The property is 69 miles away, and takes about one hour and 10 minutes to get there. Work will consist of clearing vegetative debris, cutting trees, widening trails and so forth. Many tools will be at the property, but the following tools would be helpful to bring;
– Chainsaw: Including long one for tall branches
– Loppers: for saplings and shrubs
– Rake
If you choose to meet there, coming down FM 513 off I-30 is the best way to come.
