Work Day – Big Chucky Ranch

Attire: Work clothes…long pants, long sleeve shirt, gloves, boots or tennis shoes, hat
Bring your Nalgene! Water and snacks will be provided.
The campsite at Big Chucky Ranch needs some work, so join us for a work day to prepare for our Shooting Sports campout. The property is about 70 miles away, and takes over an hour to get there. Work will consist of clearing vegetative debris, cutting trees, widening trails and so forth. Many tools will be at the property, but the following tools would be helpful to bring;
– Chainsaw: Including long one for tall branches
– Loppers: for saplings and shrubs
– Rake
FOr those wanting to travel together, plan to meet at My Possibilities at 7:30AM so we can depart by 7:45. If you choose to meet there, coming down FM 513 off I-30 is the best way to come.
