Due to some weird Covid-related circumstances we had to flip-flop our September and October campouts. So, we’ll be shooting .22’s and shotguns at Dade Ranch a little bit earlier than normal. We are also planning an epic Saturday night meal for Scouts and Adults so you won’t want to miss this one!

This meeting will be at 17 Acres (SE Corner of Custer and Legacy), weather permitting. We will be sampling some of the hiking meals for our November backpacking campout, and we will have a presentation from our Thunderbird Patrol. The troop will be heading to the Ouachita Mountains in Oklahoma for our annual overnight backpacking campout. The scouts will hike about 7-8 miles, setting up camp on the trail, and eating freeze-dried camping meals for dinner.
This year our annual cooking competition campout will be holiday themed! The scouts will start with an empanada (fried pie) competition for lunch.
