Please see the book drive email below from the Plano Early Lions. You are welcome to bring a book tonight, next Monday or to the 16th meeting. We will gather and deliver them to Plano Early Lions before their 21st meeting.
<<Forwarded Message>>Plano Early Lions,Our latest service project is furnishing books for Thomas Elementary School. As you may know the school is in a low income neighborhood and many of those kids do not many (or any) books at home. The school wants to have a book for each student to take home for the summer and if some are left, to add them to the school library.Please tell your family and friends. And take care to pick out a quality book. The desire is to encourage reading which is an important skill in a child’s education.Please bring your books to our meeting on Saturday or at our May 21 meeting.
