Our annual canoe shakedown campout at Camp Constantin on Possum Kingdom Lake is a troop favorite! At this campout, the scouts earn their Canoeing Merit Badge and prepare for our annual Bufflao River Canoe Trip (BRCT). On Saturday morning, the scouts attend training, then get in and apply what they learn. This year, the scouts formed a 6-canoe
floatilla,” which they coined the “British Royal Fleet.” And, every year the scouts play King of the Dock, although this year was a bit chilly, so they only played a couple of rounds.. This campout is a great way to have fun and prepare for the Buffalo River!
