Live Action Role Play (LARP) is one of the troop’s favorite games to play during a campout. In fact, it has become an annual tradition to plan a campout where LARP is the primary activity. This year we camped at Skull Ranch, a property owned by one of the parents near Lone Oak, TX. On Saturday morning, the scouts make their weapons and shileds using pool noodles, PVC, cardboard, and duct tape.  Under some very strict rules to prevent injury, the scouts then conduct several rounds of “strategic chaos” where there are no real winners or losers. The scouts had a blast and are already lookeing forward to next year’s LARP campout!
