The Trail to First Class (TFC) Transition Campout is a unique and amazing experience for our new scouts. On this campout, we introduce the first-year scouts and parents to Troop 221. The scouts learn all about our troop equipment and trailer and how we setup camp. They also complete all of the requirements to achieve their Scout rank. The parents also learn about the troop and opportunites to participate as parents. It is a great opportunity to introduce the scouts and parents into the troop so they do not feel as overwhelmed on a regular campout. It is a fun time of welcoming our incoming TFC’s, teaching them scouting skills and how to camp with Troop 221.
